Ayong Son

Ayong Son is an artist and designer from South Korea. Her work begins with images derived from simple forms and colours, such as dots. Rather than focusing on the subject depicted, she is interested in how meaning emerges when images are placed in different states and relationships. Her earlier research explored the visual expression of neutrality, and her current work questions what authenticity means.
