Drinkmilk is comprised of Luc Cimino and Gracie Margherita Elbel.

Drinkmilk works in sculpture, writing and performance. They prefer to use mediums that require labour. Physical impacts on their bodies or strength required in the act of making. The material is blended with the physicality of the artists, combining artifacts of the body within the works. Methods of making that take time, that require patience and practice. They like to work slow, valuing the process and use of iterations. Writing as a medium, is used both in the process and final form. They view it as a sculpture in itself, and like to explore the use of diagrams as an extension of their conceptual development. Often writing documents and essays that are a part of the body of work. Drinkmilk’s performance work is hyper-aware of technology and what it means to grow up within new media culture. 

They like to use performance to embed new media into the traditional, juxtaposing how mediums are integrated and specifically the relationship that our physical body has to exposure, awareness and sensitivity in the digital.
